Many new builds are now designed to take into account some key environmental aspects, with special emphasis on the carbon footprint of each particular dwelling. With international treaties and agreements this trend is set to become even more intense.

Energy Statements
Since March 2008 certain planning applications require an Energy Statement. This statement sets out the predicted carbon dioxide emissions as well as outlining how the development will help reduce emissions by at least 10%. Linic provides Energy Statements to accompany specific planning appllications.
These statements provide detailed information on how a development will address energy supply and incorporate energy efficiency and renewable energy technologies. The statements include calculations for base-line energy usage, assessments of energy efficiency measures and suggestions for on-site renewable energy generation to minimise carbon emmissions.
